We have flood...
In the past few days or weeks (who can follow this?) we, who live along the banks of the Danube (or along other rivers flooding in these days in Europe, e.g. like Elbe and Vltava) experience a huge flood. This is really frightening. The past night the water has reached its highest level, but it will take days or weeks, when the level of the water will reach its normal level again.
I'm lucky enough, because our home is located not too close to the river on a little hillside, on a higher level compared to the flood. SO we are safe. But there are people living in my country who are not so lucky.
Here you can see some photos about what's happening here. Here is a video report about the flood.

I feel so sorry for everyone living in the flood regions. Here in Germany it's getting worse and worse in some regions, ten thousands of people have to evacuate their homes, it's horrible.
I'm fortunate enough to live in a city which is not affected.
All the best for you. ♥

Though my home is safe, the office I work is located in a lower area of the Northern part of the city. It hasn't been flooded till now - and we hope it won't happen at all-, but last Friday we were told to prepare for the possible flood. It was rather scary.

Friends of my, who are living in Magdeburg, were not so lucky and were evacuated. Their 150-year-old house, which hadn't been flooded ever before, was this time up to the raised ground floor in Elbe water for the last 4 days. Thankfully they had enough time to get everything out of the cellar and first floor, even the heating system. Only the oil tanks remained and have bursted.
