FedCon 2010 DVD is here! And Festivids squee!

WHen I arrived home from work today, a yellow envelope was waiting for me at home. Inside of this the long-awaited FedCon DVD from Germany: finally has arrived! I was so excited and happy! My daughter and me watched them (there were 2 DVDs in the box) not everything yet, but we had to watch David and Joe immediately.:) This brought back great memories anyway. We'll definitely watch the remained parts at this weekend. I wish there would be more of them on the DVDs.

We are going to FedCon this year, again. We have the tickets only at this moment. No hotel room and flight ticket has booked yet.*sigh* I have to manage these in time. But I'M so very excited because of this event! Anybody else? I wonder who will come from my friends.:)

Other event I have to sqeee about: Festivids golive tomorrow! EEEEE!!!

I check the guest list every day - *sighs* there's nobody worth going for me unfortunately. But there's still one guest TBA.... I'll keep my fingers crossed. :)

I wonder how much the daily tickets are going to be this year.

FedCon 2010 was a great fun anyway and not only because of a certain leading male actor from SGA was there as a guest star.:)))

I hope this year's event will be also great.:D

Unfortunately I don't know the prices of daily tickets. Weekend tickets (for 4 days this time!) cost 99 Euros. Not so cheap, but the experiance worths it! Children under 5 can enter free, children under 11 pay half price of the adult ticket.

Hát nem unatkoztam, az már biztos. A FedCon DVD és Festivids együtt, sok is volt a jóból. :)

Biztos, hogy mennek mások is, főként a Magyar Star Trek Klub szervezkedik a Facebook-on. Tavaly is összefutottunk kettővel közülük (véletlenül ismertem az egyiket), plusz megismerkedtünk egy helyes magyar lánnyal, aki Németországban dolgozik. Ő öltözött be női Darth Vader-nek amúgy, nagyon csinos volt a piros miniruhájában.:)

Jól, persze, csak fáradt vagyok, keveset aludtam, mindenki beteg és én vagyok az ápolónő és ma már dolgoztam is. Jön kahesha is, ővele már tavaly együtt mentünk a FedCOn-ra (neki könnyű, ő német), most a férje is jön.:) Ma lefoglaltam a repülőjegyeket is, nincs már visszaút, megyünk!:)))

Köszi és persze hogy a család beteg, pontosabban a lányok, fáj a torkuk, köhögnek, fújják az orrukat és lázasak voltak, ma már nem azok, szerencsére.

Igen, kahesha nagyon ügyes és nagyon-nagyon jó fej, még a Kawoosh fórumáról ismerem, csak ott más a nickje. A régi Stargate SG1-es és Farscape-es videói is fantasztikusak, de azok sajnos már nincsenek fenn az interneten. Talán egy-kettő pihen belőlük a merevlemezemen. Nem is tudom, majd megnézem, ha érdekel.

És hát igen örülök, de még félre kell raknom addig, még nincs meg a várhatóan szükséges összeg teljes egészében. A szállást lefoglaltam, kicsit messzebb van a Con hoteljétől, mint szerettem volna, de először is nem túl drága és van tömegközlekedés, másodszor elég lesz márciusban kifizetni.:)

jobbulást nekik :hug: mi nem voltunk lázasak, csak én még mindig köhécselek néha karácsony óta, szóval kitartás, kalapkúra és egyebek :)

hát nekem most szemüveget kell vennem, sajna minden pénzem erre fog elmenni, és örülni fogok, ha fel tudok menni a májusi találkozóra Pestre :(

úgy hallottam, h a német tömegközlekedés az nagyon jó, talán nem lesz gond vele :) remélem a szállásod is megfelelő lesz és kíváncsi vagyok, h milyen élményekkel fogsz gazdagodni :)

Május még odébb van, biztos összejön addig a szükséges pénz, bízok benne! Igen, a szemüveg sajna nem olcsó. Nekem egyszer - pár éve - az akkori munkahelyem hozzájárult a szemüveghez, mivel számítógéppel dolgoztam. A mostani munkahelyemen már nem ilyen bőkezűek, sajnos.

Küldtem egy videót a Special ROund-ra is.:)

I'm still debating whether to buy the DVD. How much of the SGA panels is on there?

I'll be at FedCon again this year as well, yay. We should set up a meeting for attendees from LJ or something - I think there's going to be lots of them.

I wanted to buy the DVD from the beginning, because of the great memories. I don't know exactly, how long are the SGA parts on it, maybe half an hour totally. SO really not too much, unfortunately. When I ordered the DVD, I asked them, if they made a special SGA DVD, but no, they didn't.

Yay, you are coming! We should meet, yesss! Everyone from LJ should wear a badge with LJ letters on it, haha! Just joking:)

Some frinds from Hungary will come also, another German friend from LJ with her husband will come as well. SO this will be fun.:)

I didn´t get the con DVD so far. I don`t have the money to buy at this time. Maybe I`ll get lucky, and the DVD is still available once I`ve got some spare money.

The DVD was my Christmas present, just this arrived a little later. I couldn't watched everything till now, but I'll make it up for at the next weekend for sure.

On Monday I booked our flight tickets and I already payed them also, and booked a hotel room, which I have to pay for only in March - which is good - via a travel agency here in Budapest. The hotel is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel Düsseldorf-Nord, it is located further from the Maritim, then I wanted. I hope the public transport is good in Düsseldorf. The price is rather affordable I think, it is 231 Euros for 4 days for a double bedroom, breakfast included.
